I keep systems running for a living. At home, I build the ones I want to exist.

Most of what I make started as something I wanted for myself. Then I wrote down how it works.

By day I am a systems administrator: servers, networks, backups, the plumbing nobody notices until it stops. I like it when things run quietly.

Evenings and weekends go to my own projects. I make music as SiGz, and I built the site that streams it. I run a small TV service end to end. At home there are three machines that back each other up and keep my photos out of other people's clouds.

I write down what I learn, in plain words, so the next person can skip the part where I was stuck.

sigzmusic.com is where my music lives. One Cloudflare Worker serves the site, the API, and the audio. Every track sits in a private R2 bucket as encrypted HLS: the manifest, the segments, and the AES-128 key each want a signed token that expires. A small publishing console on my desk does the rest: decode, watermark, package, upload.

LiveTVCan. One project doing four jobs.

livetvcan.com is a React and Vite site on Cloudflare Pages. The same project serves the marketing site, the admin dashboard, the client portal, and the API, all through Pages Functions with a D1 database behind them. Clients sign in with Plex. I run the whole thing, from the front page to the routes that do the work.

At home, three machines and one private network.

Everything I self-host runs on three boxes joined by a Tailscale mesh. Photos back up here instead of to someone else's cloud. Media, game servers, monitoring, and backups all live on hardware I can touch. When something breaks, I fix it, then I write it down.
